SEO-G Urls is an oscommerce contribution that automatically generates search engine friendly urls for your oscommerce store.
With this module, the user can generate url structures on the same level as the store or multi-level directory structure urls.
On the admin side, there are a number of configuration options that can be set depending upon the store owners preferences. Included are:
1)Ability to configure names for various entities (such as products, categories, topics, articles)
2)Ability to monitor the generated urls
3)Ability to choose to generate or not to generate search engine friendly urls for certain pages
4)Ability to generated and download an XML sitemap file
On the catalog side, SEO-G "relies on a redirect method via .htaccess where a single script handles every URL conversion/request." Once installed, SEO G Urls, generates search engine friendly urls for any or all of your oscommerce pages using a .html extenstion.
